Short description
Howdy Mate! is a free iPhone app that helps you stay in touch with the people who matter. Set how often you’d like to catch up with each friend, get a gentle nudge when it’s been a while, and log the catch-up with one tap.
Long description
Friendships rarely end with a fight — they drift, one missed call at a time. Howdy Mate! gives each friend a rhythm, from every week to once a year, and counts from your last catch-up. When someone is due they appear on the Today screen and you get a kind reminder: friendships read “In touch”, “Drifting” or “Been a while”, never “overdue”. Logging a text, call, coffee or visit takes one tap. Birthdays come in from Contacts, a Recap shows your month or year in friends, and a Home Screen widget shows who is due. There is no account and no cloud: everything is stored on the iPhone, works offline, and can be exported at any time. Howdy Mate! is completely free, with no ads or in-app purchases.
